CARING FOR EDUCATION, HEALTH AND WELFARE
We are a registered charity seeking to provide relief for children under the age of 21, living in the Holy Land, who currently may not be receiving help and who are in critical need because of:
Extreme financial hardship
Physical or mental illness or disability
Abandonment
The death of one or both parents
Family breakdown
Having no other source of income, ACIC relies totally on the sponsorship of children and also on general donations.
We recognise that any money donated to the charity has been given generously and often as the result of much hard work and in many cases with a great deal of self sacrifice. We work diligently, therefore, to ensure that all donations are wisely used to benefit the children who are really in the greatest need.
We see child protection as an absolute priority and therefore all those involved in the charity have current, enhanced DBS clearance. All members of ACIC, partner organisations or individuals working with young people on behalf of the Trust are expected to comply with our Child Protection Policy.
We see the importance that all applications for help are thoroughly and transparently investigated. This is achieved by good communication with and listening carefully to all those involved in the care of the child.
ACIC intends, never, to exceed fifty children in sponsorship at any one time so that we can make sure that we have the resources (both human and financial) to give a consistently good and appropriate quality of care to each child.
TALKS
If you would like a member of ACIC to come and give a talk or presentation about the work of the charity to your church, school or any other organisation please contact us.
